Join Amble based collage artist and poet Cathy Greenhalgh for a talk about her series Wetlands and a workshop to create your own collage art inspired by Cathy’s poetry.
‘Wetlands Eco-magic’ - inspiration from New Orleans, working with figures, landscape, narrative and the surreal impetus of collage
This two-hour workshop will include a presentation from Cathy about her art practice and her ‘Wetlands’ series currently on display at Jackal in the exhibition Pieces of Mind. Following the talk, Cathy will lead the group in creating their very own collage art using her poem ‘Rougarou’ as inspiration.
All materials and refreshments will be provided.
This is a workshop for adults.
Venue access: There is one small step up into the building.
There is a bathroom available, but it does not have step-free access. If you have any accessibility concerns please get in touch.
