Jackal Print Exchange is an open call opportunity for printmakers and artists working with print to take part in a shared exchange, culminating in a group exhibition at Jackal in October 2026.

This is the first Jackal Print Exchange, with the potential for it to become an annual event.

  • The exchange is open to any printmaker or artist working with print.

Participants must be able to deliver work to Jackal either in person (by arrangement) or via post.

  • Entry into the first Jackal Print Exchange is free of charge.

  • Each participant submits five prints of the same image.

In return, each participant will receive four prints by other artists, randomly allocated.

Jackal will retain one print from each edition for inclusion in a group exhibition at Jackal in October 2026.

Once the prints have been received, Jackal will post 4 prints to each participating artist prior to the exhibition in October 2026.

Alternatively, if the artist requests, the 4 prints can be picked up from Jackal during the opening hours of the group exhibition.

    All works must:

    • Be original prints

    • Be up to A5 size

    • Be signed and numbered

    • Be part of an edition of 5

If the print does not sell, artists may choose whether:

    • Jackal retains the print for future exhibitions, or

    • The print is returned to the artist
